Studying dark matter with MadDM: lines and loops

چکیده
Automated tools for the computation of amplitudes and cross sections have become backbone phenomenological studies beyond standard model. We present latest developments in MadDM, a calculator dark-matter observables based on MadGraph5_aMC@NLO. The new version enables fully automated loop-induced annihilation processes, relevant indirect detection dark matter. Of particular interest is direct into photons, $\gamma \gamma,\, \gamma X$. These processes lead to monochromatic gamma-ray lines that are smoking-gun signatures our Galaxy. MadDM computes predictions expected photon fluxes near Earth derives constraints from line searches by Fermi-LAT HESS. As an application, we implications parameter space Inert Doublet Model.

X-ray lines and self-interacting dark matter
We study the correlation between a monochromatic signal from annihilating dark matter and its self-interacting cross section. We apply our argument to a complex scalar dark sector, where the pseudo-scalar plays the role of a warm dark matter candidate while the scalar mediates its interaction with the Standard Model. We combine the recent observation of the cluster Abell 3827 for self-interacti...
متن کاملSinglet scalar dark matter in noncommutative space
In this paper, we examine the singlet scalar dark matter annihilation to becoming the Standard Model particles in the non-commutative space. In the recent decades, many candidates of dark matter have been offered, but our information about the nature of dark matter is still limited. There are such particle candidates as scalar matetr, fermion, boson, gauge boson, etc.; however, they have nei...
متن کاملSignificant gamma lines from inert Higgs dark matter.
One way to unambiguously confirm the existence of particle dark matter and determine its mass would be to detect its annihilation into monochromatic gamma-rays in upcoming telescopes. One of the most minimal models for dark matter is the inert doublet model, obtained by adding another Higgs doublet with no direct coupling to fermions. For a mass between 40 and 80 GeV, the lightest of the new in...

Lotty Ackerman, Matthew R. Buckley, Sean M. Carroll, and Marc Kamionkowski California Institute of Technology, Pasadena, California 91125, USA (Received 16 December 2008; published 23 January 2009) We explore the feasibility and astrophysical consequences of a new long-range Uð1Þ gauge field (‘‘dark electromagnetism’’) that couples only to dark matter, not to the standard model. The dark matter...
